University of Gloucestershire Fresher's Fayre

This week we were in the wonderful Regency town of Cheltenham, attending the Fresher’s Fayre at the University of Gloucestershire.

With so many new students coming through the doors it was a fantastic opportunity to promote Kowalah and explain the benefits of flexible work that can fit around your studies - picking just the jobs you want to do!

Many of those we spoke to are on the Primary School teaching course and Kowalah gives them a huge opportunity to gain career experience with similar aged children throughout their three year course. All of the students on this course are already DBS checked via the university which provides added peace of mind for parents.

Cheltenham is an increasingly busy town for Kowalah with many families looking for regular afterschool support as both parents work. A Kowalah can help pick the children up from school, take them home, help with homework and a meal until you get home.

For more information on Kowalah’s Afterschool care service checkout our recent block post.

Big thanks to all those we met on Wednesday - we look forward to connecting some of these brilliant Kowalahs with Cheltenham families over the coming weeks!
